Cherokee Casino and Hotel Roland earns three Best of the Best awards

5 November 2018

(PRESS RELEASE) -- For the third consecutive year, Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland was voted a favorite by Southwest Times Record subscribers and this year picked up awards in three categories.

“Our staff works hard to create a fun and exciting atmosphere for our guests,” said Chad McReynolds, general manager of Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland. “We feel honored they recognize our effort to make this their home away from home and chose us as the Best of the Best for 2018.”

The resort-style casino features a hotel offering 120 rooms and suites; 850 electronic games; table games, including blackjack, 21+3, Ultimate Texas Hold’em Progressive, Blazing 7s and roulette; a nightclub; and two dining options. There is also a travel plaza and gaming parlor located on the grounds within walking distance of the casino offering everything you need, from fuel, showers, laundry, truck parts and hot food to an inviting gaming space with 65 electronic games.

Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland was chosen by readers as the 2018 Southwest Times Record Best of the Best in three categories, including Best Concert Venue, Best Hotel or Resort, and Best Buffet.

The 170,000-square-foot casino has clearly become an entertainment destination for Oklahoma and Arkansas for more reasons than gaming. Free concerts are held regularly at Lee Creek Tavern, where recent performers include Tracy Byrd, Sara Evans, Josh Gracin, TG Sheppard and The Artimus Pyle Band.

“We strive to deliver an unforgettable experience every time a guest, new or old, walks through our doors,” McReynolds said. “We are honored for the recognition. Our hope is they leave here feeling like a million bucks.”
